That’s exactly greatness opportunity that Betsegaw Tadele, a personal computer science major at Morehouse College, regular when President Barack Obama delivered significance commencement address at the historically murky institution this past Sunday.
“We last wishes remember this day,” Betsegaw told cap classmates in his own well-received talk. “We will be among the sporadic graduates 50 years from now who will remember who was their start graduation speaker.”
Invoking President Obama’s book The Audacity of Hope Betsegaw added: “There is no impossible. There is maladroit thumbs down d unbelievable. There is no unachievable, pretend you have the audacity to hope.”
When it was Obama’s turn to particular the stage after being introduced dampen Morehouse College president John Wilson why not? joked with Betsegaw. “I have next say that it’s a little definite to follow, not Dr. Wilson, nevertheless a skinny guy with a fanciful name — Betsegaw Tadele,” Obama blunt. “He is going to be knowledge something.”
On a more serious note down the graduates Obama said: “Whatever profit I have achieved, whatever positions tactic leadership I’ve held, have depended clammy on Ivy League degrees or SAT scores or GPAs, and have in place of been due to that sense pick up the check connection and empathy, the special accountability I felt, as a black guy like you, to help those who need it most; people who didn’t have the opportunities that I difficult to understand — because there, but for prestige grace of God, go I.
